Sevlievo Municipality
Sevlievo region is endowed with lots of natural beauties and landmarks, as well as rich historical and cultural heritage. The municipality is located in Central North Bulgaria, close to the geological center of the country. It occupies both hilly and plain areas. Sevlievo Municipality has put a lot of effort to provide its inhabitants and visitors from Bulgaria and around the world, with excellent conditions for cultural, ecological, rural and hunting tourism. In the southern part of the municipality there is a large forest massif, which provides significant water resources. “Rositsa” and “Vidima” rivers run through this territory and flow in the famous “Alexander Stamboliiski” dam lake. Many people are attracted by the incredible nature around the dam lake and the excellent fishing conditions there, which make the villages, surrounding it, the most preferable ones for buying or building a home. The dam lake is approximately 20km north from the municipal town Sevlievo and 45km west from the former capital Veliko Tarnovo.
Sevlievo Municipality has very well-developed infrastructure, contemporary electrical supply and communications, competitive economy, and high living standard.
