Kozarevec Village
The village of Kozarevets is located on the main road Sofia-Varna, in approximaty to the town of Gorna Oryakhovitsa, town of Lyskovets and 20km from the municipality centre of Veliko Turnovo.
The village sprung up in the 18th century, and is reckoned that it was founded by a shepherd who was trying to escape from a Turkish ruler. The church “St. Petka” was built in 1850, and the first school opened in 1855.
