Idilevo Village
Idilevo is a village in the municipality of Sevlievo, in Gabrovo Province, in northern central Bulgaria.[1]
The current mayor of the village (re-elected 2016) is Hristo Peev
Idilevo is the home of the Motocamp which specializes in providing accommodation and assistance to motorcycle travelers.
The village is situated at the foot of the Balkan Mountains, on about 500 m altitude. The climate is characterized by cold and snowy winters, while summer is warm.
The population is about 180 people, including families from England, Germany and America.
Idilevo is fully electrified and supplied with water. It has a town hall, post office, grocery store. Nearest kindergarten, school and medical center are located in Sevlievo and the village Dobromirka. The cottage comprises with a family villas offering accommodation of tourists.
Regular transport links it with the municipal center.
Idilevo has opportunities to practice sport fishing as there is a small dam near by. In the land of the village there are remains of buildings and a Roman road.
