Center City Region
In the central part of Veliko Turnovo now live nearly 24 000 people. Cadastral map of this area exist since 1958 and is the oldest in town.
The center includes blvd. Vasil Levski and Nezavisimost str. There are located the majority of government offices, the Courthouse, National Revenue Agency, The Post, as well as shops, restaurants, offices, banks, artistic faculty at the University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, ”Constantine Kisimov” theatre, schools, park “Marno pole”, hospital and the police department of Veliko Tarnovo.
