Prestoi Village
Prestoy is a village in Tryavna Municipality, in Gabrovo Province, in northern central Bulgaria. It is only 6 km away from the town of Tryavna, 26 km away from Gabrovo and 47 km from Veliko Tarnovo. It is set in the mountain Stara Planina and provides fresh air and panoramic views.
Prestoy Point on Graham Land, Antarctica is named after the village
The old name of the village used to be Dzhurovtsi. During 1877 the russian army stayed there during the winter and from there comes the new name - Prestoy which means "stay"
