Zaya Village
Zaya (Bulgarian: Çàÿ) is a village in Dryanovo Municipality, in Gabrovo Province, in northern central Bulgaria. it is located on the main road between the cities Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo. The nearest town is Dryanovo which is only 5 km away. Veliko Tarnovo is 18 km away and Gabrovo is 25 km. River Dryanovska passes just 500 meter away from the village.
The population are bulgarians and britians. There is a shop in the village.
History
It is believed that in the area there was Thracian and Roman village. There is an ancient road in the area "Asanskoto" and in the area "Gera" were found old coins and pottery.
Around 1690 the first settler was the old man Nikola.
Social Life
The village`s fest in on every Eastern. Every last friday of the month the brits are making karaoke nights in the shop.
