Plakovo Village
The village of Plakovo is located 15km south-east of Veliko Turnovo on the old way that connects it with Elena. Accourding to a legend during the Turkish slavery near Plakovo used to be a village called Kiselchovo which was demolished by the Turks. Eventually, people decided to move away from it and try and find a shelter in the mountain. While they where walking they were crying, therefore, the village is called Plakovo (Crying).
