Gorna Studena Village



Gorna Studena is a village located in Northern Bulgaria in the municipality of Svishtov. The local church was built in 1875. 6 of the churche`s bells were made in Krasnoyarsk in Russia. Cape Studena in Antarctica is named after the village of Gorna Studena.
History
For two months the village was Headquarters of the Russian command. The emperor Alexander II, the romaninan prince Karol I, bulgarian Alexander Batenberg and other famous people stayed in the village.
