Palici Village
Palitsi is located in the municipality of Elena, 13 km from Elena and 50 km away from Veliko Tarnovo. It is settled on the main road Elena - Sliven. The village is divided into two parts - Gorno Palitsi (Upper Palitsi) and Dolno Palitsi (Lower Palitsi). The population of the village in 2015 is 171 people. River Kamenitsa passes through the village and nearby is located a dam which is suitable for fishing carps and whitefish.
Village church "St. Basil the Great" was built of wood in 1881, and in 1898 was built a new stone church. In the hall is placed a plaque to the fallen in war 1912-1918 year.
The village has community center , kindergarten, shops and several pubs.
