Up to seven percent increase of incoming tourists is expected for the summer

A 5 to 7% percent growth of the number of incoming tourists is expected in summer season 2013 in Bulgaria compared to 2012, Burgas regional tourist chamber chair Ivan Ivanov announced for Focus News Agency. The forecast is for the district of Burgas.

There is an expectation for 10- 12% growth of the British tourists with regard to the current bookings, as these will be mostly groups of young people.

Forecasts have it that growth will be highest for visitors from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. According to Ivan Ivanov, tourists from Ukraine and Belarus might be as much as 34-37% more this year over.
The southern beach resort Sunny Beach will welcome its first guests on April 24.
