40% more Ukrainian tourists are expected to visit Bulgaria in 2013

According to Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Ivo Marinov 30%-40% increase in the number of Ukrainian tourists in Bulgaria is expected for the upcoming summer season.

Ivo Marinov presented Bulgaria at a press conference during the 19th international tourism expo UITT 2013 in Kiev. The event is organised under the motto “Find and Share” and presented the various opportunities offered by Bulgaria as a year-round tourism destination.

In 2012 Bulgaria 253,599 Ukrainian tourists visited Bulgarai, which is 44% up compared to 2011, Marinov said. The total number of the Ukrainians, who visited Bulgaria, was around 326,000, which is a nearly 30% increase.
