The Virgin Money British corporation, owned by billionaire Richard Branson has selected Bulgaria and two other countries as leading destinations for family trips in 2013. The selection is due to low prices, combined with great experiences, offered mainly in the Rhodope Mountain. The company also accentuates on the ski resorts of this country that attract thousands from all over Europe and the globe. Virgin Money further writes that the capital city Sofia, situated at the foot of the Vitosha Mountain is a perfect destination for families that look for a good place for skiing in winter or for climbing in summer.
