Buy to let property market trends in Bulgaria are becoming more and more stable and even the market is still emerging the indications are for more healthy and promising to prosper market with high return than other property investments in the area.
Veliko Tarnovo is a town with traditions in the tourist industry and second largest University in Bulgaria with more than 5000 students every year. It’s an attractive for short and long term holiday makers nearly all year around with the highest number of visitors per year of over 2 milion per year.
Popular area s to buy are center and surround the university main central building but of course at the sought after district of Veliko Tarnovo and the close and satellite villages to town.
Best buy to let is a one bedroom flat near the center or in a district with a good communications to university and town attractions. Such a purchase will allow you to sign or a long term rental contract or being able to let on a short terms to, make even a higher income.
Two bedroom flats are preferable if you are considering long term investment with lower but more secure income and consistency than short term rentals.
At present and in the next 2-3 years we forecasting of E200 income from 1 bedroom flat on average and on a 2 bedroom apartment of E 275 on average. This will allows you to gain a return of 5-6 % of net yield per year or 7-8% if you manage it yourself.
