| Bulgaria Sees 7.4% Increase in Foreign Tourists June 2012 Y/Y |

A 7.4% year on year increase was registered in the number of tourists who visited Bulgaria in June 2012, according to the country's National Statistical Institute.
In June 2012, the total number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 1 116.6 thousand which was by 84.3% more compared to May 2012 and by 5.5% more than June 2011.
Tourists accounted for 60.4% of the total number of people who visited the country in June.
Tourist visits formed 81.0% of all arrivals from Russia, 79.6% of all arrivals from Ukraine, and 78.3% of those from the United Kingdom.
In June 2012 the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 361.3 thousand or by 3.7% more than in May 2012 and by 9.9% above the registered in June 2011.
