Real Estate Century Homes made its analysis of the first half of 2012 and reported that the number of transactions compared to last year, remains almost unchanged. This indicates a resistance to the real estate market in the region of Veliko Tarnovo, which is s good sign in times of economic crisis.
The trends in demand for properties during the last few months remain that they will stay the same in the foreseeable future. There is an increasing demand for good-quality properties, but on reasonable price. When we talk about urban properties the most important for the buyers are the location of the property, infrastructure in the region, exposure and level of completion.
An increasing numbers of builders are trying to meet these requirements and improve spaces around the buildings. Flexible payment schemes for houses and finishing the apartments, which are included in the price of housing, are also offered. Thus, the developers are better able to adapt to find a buyer, especially when new construction is more attractive to home-seekers. Banks also help the sustainability of this market by offering better credit conditions.
There is also increasing interest in rural properties by Bulgarian buyers. Requirements of the Bulgarian customers are almost the same as the foreigners’. The demand is for houses near Veliko Tarnovo villages and small towns which have good infrastructure, regular public transport, internet and all conditions to suit modern lifestyle. After the boom in sales of rural property a few years ago, the current trend is towards lower prices. The offering is extremely high therefore the quality of houses is more decisive for the choice of buyers.
This fully applies to buyers from abroad who retain an interest in "rural" and "urban" properties in the region of Veliko Tarnovo. Buying "per kilo" has no longer exist and determinants in the purchase of buying a property is the infrastructure and the quality of the property.
In general, we can conclude that Century Homes Ltd. are optimistic about the development of the real estate market in the incoming months and we are pleased that in defining the search criteria for a new home, buyers are increasingly looking for "quality ".
