| Waterfall "Raisko praskalo", Central Balkan |

The "Raiskoto Praskalo" or the "Kaloferskoto Praskalo" waterfall is the highest on the Balkan Peninsula. It is situated in the Central Balkan Mountain underneath the Botev Peak.
It is within the National park "Central Balkan" in the nature reserve Djendema. It collects water from snow drifts below the top, forming the Praskalska river and is 124.5 meters high. The waterfall launches a tributary of the "Biala reka"( White River,) which flows into the Dzhendema reserve. At the foot of there is a hut, which is a start-off point for visiting the waterfall.
The "Rai" (Paradise) hut can be reached along a marked path starting from the town of Kalofer. The walk form the town to the hut is approximately 4h.
