| Started the realization of the cross-border project between Yambol and Edrine |

Regional Administration Yambol launched the project "GATE 2 TOUR: Integrated development of cultural - historical tourism in the border region of Yambol - Thrace - Edirne" in Cross Border Cooperation Programme Bulgaria - Turkey.
The project will develop a strategy and pilot model for protecting, socializing, restoration and efficient utilization of two historical monuments – the monastery in Voden and Dolmen in Lalapasha, collaborative with archeologist, architects and experts from Bulgaria and Turkey.
The project provides also the creation of archeological work team which will attract young people and archaeologists from both countries. Òhrough the Internet platform "GATE 2 TOUR" the selected historical sites will be promoted to the general public.
The duration of the project is 12 months and the total value of the subsidy is 98 005 euro, as the European funding is 83,304.19 euro.
