| Rise in European tourists in Bulgaria is expected in summer 2011 |

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry expects a rise in European tourists who visit Bulgarian summer resorts. There will be an increase of 15-18% in Italian tourists in the country during summer 2011, Evelin Videnov the vice president of the chamber said, Information Agency Focus reported.
Recently there was an international Bulgarian-Italian tourist forum. The two countries discussed opportunities of cooperation in this business branch. Bulgarian government considers to organize other forums with Austria, Poland and Czech Republic.
European tourists are more interested in sightseeing in Bulgaria, rather than just staying in the hotels, Videnov said.
