| The number of foreign tourists in Veliko Turnovo increases with 17,4% for 2010 |

The number of foreigners visiting Veliko Turnovo who spend the night in hotels has increased with 17,4% for 2010 according to statistics, Yantra daily reported. The sum of the Bulgarian and foreign tourists spending the night in hotels in Veliko Turnovo is with 6,9% more than those one in 2009.
Foreigners who visit Veliko Turnovo the most are Romanians. They are 19,8% from the sum of the foreign tourists, the French are 7,2%, the Spanish 7%, the Britons 6,6% and the Italians 5,7%.
Bulgarians are 80,4% from those spending the night in hotels in the old Bulgarian capital.
The income from the hotels in the region is 7,108 million leva for 2010.
