This article will give you a guidance that will turn the refreshment of your home into an enjoyable occupation. Before you begin the renovation, you should plan your steps. To do a proper planning of the repair you must emphasize the following points:
- What needs to be repaired? After you mark the things that must be repaired, grade them starting with the most complex.
- In what sequence you will carry out your repairs? Certain repairs must be made in a certain sequence, for example: if in one room you lay decorative plaster and tile, you must first lay the plaster and then the tile. You can also combine the repair activities, i.e. if it is possible while you repair one room, to repair the other at the same time, too. You should note the complexity of repair, as the most complex must be parallel to the simplest.
- Choice of materials and craftsmen. This is a very important step in planning a renovation. The best option is to find first a good master and he/she will help you select the appropriate materials. Remember something very important - you can save some money from the materials but do not save them from the master, because even the most expensive tiles will fall if they are not properly fitted. It is important to have a contract with the masters and to pay them after the work is done; and you should point the specific deadlines for completion of repairs. If you pay per day, you risk your renovation to become a long, frustrating and expensive experience.
If after the repair you have to put new furniture, do not wait to finish the repairs and then start looking for furniture. Good quality furniture is the one that takes time. There are two types of furniture - those that you can find in the catalogue, that have standard dimensions, but the manufacturer offers a choice of colors, handles, and in some cases even windows; the second - furniture created by the individual project of the client. Usually the companies that offer the second type also offer the manufacture of design and project. Of course, the second type of furniture is better option, but often more expensive because of the uniqueness and quality it offers. No matter how you will choose your furniture, remember to choose it carefully and tastefully as you will have to look at it every day.
