Enlarge a small space
Font size:  A  A  A
How to make a small living space look larger?
Even if your space is tight, you don’t want to sacrifice style for utility. How can spaces be multi-functional and beautiful?
Tips:
•        Colors: use lighter hues like icy blues, pale green, white and cream, butter yellow, pale lilac, the color palette is huge. Everyone has his own favorite color. What’s your favorite? If you love color, introduce this with accessories.
•        Use monochromatic paint technique, fabrics, and patterns, tone on tone will make the space bigger.
•        Bring in more light, adding more light fixtures like rope lights, bookself light, floor lamps, wall sconces. It won’t take any room in your space.
•        Use mirror opposite a light source such as a window to maximize the natural daylight and enlarge the space and make sure that mirrors reflect nice view.
•        Use plain upholstery when you cover sofas, chairs.
•        Use window treatment that let in as much light as possible and keep treatment clear.
•        Avoid blocking view to windows and doors.
•        Choice clever furniture : low-rise furniture in which you can store and display belongings , freestanding shelves. Translucent saucer chairs that seem to take hardly any space at all.
•        Maximize unused spaces with attractive storage and shelving. Are there any spares corners where new shelves can be added?
•        Do you have “dead alcoves”, niches, corridors, corners, which can be brought efficiently into play?
•        Provide plenty of storage and organize the interior of your closets for the most efficient way.
•        Open up the space, it offers very effective use of space and shared light. Draw boundaries for each area by using floor finishes like a rug, installing screens or sliding doors, or carefully position the furniture.

Conclusion:
Less is more, think minimal by choosing only useful pieces of furniture and refuse to be distracted by anything you don’t really need. Clutter tends to visually accentuate the potentially cramped look of small spaces. Work out your storage needs incorporating built-in storage designed to fit.
Express yourself when decorating your space, your house reflects your personality and you will enjoy everyday your space if it is comfortable and beautiful.Encourage gathering, socialization, love, relaxation when you chose your furniture.
