| Sixth watermelon fest in Nikyup |

For a sixth time Nikyup will host the watermelon fest. It will take place on 5th August from 6:30 p.m.. Guests are expected from all over the world. The village is known for producing one of the sweetest watermelons in the country. The local agricultural cooperative will provide 5 tons watermelons for the fest.
Craftsman will show carving on watermelons, body arts, processions with melon rinds, exhibition of local producers. There will be competitions such as eating competitions, watermelon rolling and watermelon weight guessing.
During the fest there will be concerts, acrobatic performances, folklore dances, a brass-band. |
