| XIV Traditional crafts international fair |

As per tradition, every year at the beginning of September the Ethnographic open-air museum ETAR gathers master craftsmen both from afar and from the surrounding areas to show their skills and unique works before the multitude of visitors of the International fair of traditional crafts.
The Fair organizers are Ministry of Culture, Gabrovo Municipality, Ethnographic open–air museum ETAR. The event is held under the patronage of Mrs. Tsetska Tsacheva – Chairperson of the National Assembly of Bulgaria.
This year the program of the fair will include:
XII International scientific conference "Traditional crafts – past, present, future"
International exhibition-bazaar of traditional crafts
Craftsman's competition "Tablet weaving of belts"
Exhibition-bazaar "Woodcarving"
Rare textile techniques – presentation and bazaar
Art Textile Exhibition "Weaving Techniques Resurrected" by Stoyna Krastanova
Re-enactments and demonstration of home occupations and traditional customs
Children's Programme
In folklore music program will be able to see:
Folklore performance by Neshka Robeva's dance company "National Art"
National school of folk arts "Filip Kutev", town of Kotel
Music formation "Tapani i gaidi", city of Sofia
Folklore ensembles and groups from the towns of Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo and the villages Gabene, Vranilovtsi, Novakovtsi
The fair will be held from 2nd to 6th September |
