One of the first bulgarian opera works – “Borislav" gives the start of this year's summer opera festival in the ancient town of Veliko Tarnovo - "Stage of the Ages." The cultural forum will take place in the period 24.07 - 01.08.2015. Organizers are the Veliko Turnovo Municipality and the Tsarevgrad Tarnov Municipal Tourist Agency in partnership with the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
This year's program will be very rich. Traditionally there are three performances but now their number is 6. On July 24 and 25th guests will enjoy "Borislav." Two ballet nights follow after that with "Zorba the Greek" on July 28 and on 29th - Winnie-the-Pooh (performance for children), "Carmen" and "Rhapsody in blue". On July 31 and August 1st Sofia Opera and Ballet will perform, Modest Mussorgsky's famous work - "Boris Godunov".
