| Bulgaria to launch an innovative advertising campaign in Germany |

Bulgaria is to launch in Germany a new innovative advertising campaign under the slogan “Bulgaria - discover and share”, deputy minister of Economy and Energy Branimir Botev announced at Bulgaria’s press conference during the ITB international tourist exhibition in Berlin.
The campaign aims at positioning Bulgaria as an attractive tourist destination. The communication campaign includes advertising in the media – both electronic and online, print media, as well as outdoor advertising. We also count on the direct contacts – joint meetings with tour operators, since we find their opinion and expert’s analysis on the Bulgarian tourism highly important, Branimir Botev added.
According to him tourism has contributed 16.5% to Bulgaria's GDP last year and is expected to continue its growth. He pointed out an interesting ratio – Bulgarian population is 6.9 million and the foreign tourists in 2013 were 7.2 million. By 2020 it is expected that the number of tourists reaches 9.5 million.
Bulgaria’s press conference at ITB Berlin was divided into two panels - "Discover" and "Share". In the first panel Branimir Botev presented the diversity of Bulgarian tourism. In the second panel "Share" the personal messages of two German bloggers who traveled around Bulgaria – Steve Hänisch and Bjorn Troch were presented.
