| Mindya Rock Fest |

Mindya Rock Fest is an annual event held in the village of Mindya, which is located less than 20 km from Veliko Tarnovo. Fest’s first edition was in 2009 and was organized by an English family, settled in the village. Organizers of the next edition in 2010 were local people from the village. This year 5 bands took part in the fest, which attracted more than 2000 people, who came in the village. Next year the bands were 10, played for more than 5000 visitors.
In 2012 the fest will be held on 24,25 and 26 of August. More than 12 Bulgarian rock bands will take part in the fest. Mindya Rock Fest is free and is held in the village’s center.
The village offers opportunities for camping, there are local guest houses.
