| Bulgaria-Argentina diplomatic relations displayed in exposition |

Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs launches an exposition marking the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Argentina. Documents and papers trace the first political and consulate contacts motivated by the substantial Bulgarian group of emigrants to Argentina in the period between the two world wars. The event also emphasizes the contribution which the Bulgarian settlers had for bringing the two countries closer. Argentina is the first country in Latin America with which Bulgaria establishes diplomatic relations and where the largest Bulgarian community in the region lives today. On the occasion of the anniversary political consultations will take place on Tuesday between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
