Every August in the village of Pavel (Veliko Tarnovo region, Polski Trambesh municipality), the "Pavel Fest" is organized, celebrating peppers, tomatoe and traditional foods. The festival program includes various activities such as an open workshop in the village center, where volunteers demonstrate the process of making traditional hot pepper relish (pavelka lyutenitsa). Recipes of local dishes will be presented to the guests, and children will showcase their artistic skills by creating drawings and vegetable crafts.The event will feature stands offering products from both locals and guests. “Pavel Fest” also usually crowns the "Queen of Lyutenitsa." Different dishes made from the mentioned products will be prepared.The festivities will continue throughout the day. |
