Bulgaria is second in Europe, after Iceland, in natural mineral water and natural-source spring water resources, unique composition and quality of drinking water, indicate data of the European Federation of Bottled Waters and the Soft Drinks Association in Bulgaria.
The principal water sources with proven mineral water characteristics number around 500. However, in practical terms, no more than 30 percent of them are used. The remainder remain unutilized. |
