Sofia represents a good location for those people looking to invest in overseas property, an industry expert has claimed. According to Deborah Fox, director of Emerging Real Estate, the Bulgarian capital "is doing very well and is a good place [in which] to continue investing". She asserted that the property market in Sofia is "very buoyant", noting that in many areas of the city demand for property is currently outweighing supply, meaning that there are good returns on buy-to-let investment. Ms Fox commented: "There are quite a lot of multinational companies going in whose employees need to look for somewhere, and for them it offers really good value for money so they can pick the nicest places in Sofia. "Any investors who are looking for good capital growth, and for rentals, should be looking in the best areas in Sofia. The places that are doing very well are Lozenetz, Iztok and Doctor's Gardens. Those are the real quality areas that people are looking for." |
