Building of the Year 2009 awards have been given away

Building of the Year 2009 awards have been given away. The prestigious awards in the construction sector have been given on Dec. 15 at a gala dinner in Sofia Kempinski Zografski hotel.
The main categories and winners are:
• Residential buildings and complexes - Vitosha Tulip
• City hotels - Ventura hotel
• Holiday hotels - RIU Pravets Resort (on the picture)
• Holiday complexes - Oasis Resorts &Spa
• Public buildings with business functions - Batenberg office building
• Trade buildings - Burgas Plaza
• Industial buildings and logistic centers - Sofia Airport Centre logistic centre
• Buildings with special functions - Stara Zagora history museum
• Multifunctional buildings - Royal City - Plovdiv
* Special awards:
- High-tech and energy efficienty building - Plovdiv airport terminal
- Project of very high public importance - Sofia metro - SU Sv. Kliment Ohordski passenger station
- Special prize of the contest general sponsor Euromarket Group - Persenk spa hotel - Devin
