Bulgaria continues to boom with new residential buildings

Despite the worldwide financial struggle, the amount of property to buy in Bulgaria seems to be showing real momentum.
The second quarter of 2009 shows over a 50 percent increase in productivity when compared to the first quarter, with nearly 6000 apartment units coming on line. The activity is borne out by recent figures which show substantial increases in the issue of new building permits.
Overall the country has seen a growth of approximately 7 percent in its residential construction during the second quarter of 2009 compared to the same period last year. Despite recent bleak news regarding the value of property in Burgas and Varna, these are two locations leading the market in productivity. with over 2500 apartments being made. Apartment property in Sofia was divided across 35 new constructions yielding nearly 550 flats.
