A festive sacrifice will be consecrated on the occasion of Dimitrov's Day and 839 years since the uprising of Assen and Peter

The program for the holiday starts already at 8.45 in the morning. Lithium procession with the icon of St. Dimitar will move from the Church of the Assumption to the Church Museum of St. Dimitar Solunski", after which the holy liturgy will be celebrated. Portions will be distributed free of charge in the courtyard of the church "St. Dimitar" in Veliko Tarnovo.
At exactly 11:00 a.m., a literary-musical composition "Asenevtsi and the resurrected kingdom of the Bulgarians" will be performed by the students Nataliya Zdravkova, Gergana Rusanova and Alexander Ivanov, led by Natalie Nenova from the Staropstol Vocational School of Economics "Dr. Petar Aladzhov".
Mayor Daniel Panov will give a festive speech, and Vencislav Donchev, who is the chairman of the Regional Representation of the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria, will give a greeting on the occasion of Builder's Day.
Immediately afterwards, a thanksgiving prayer and blessing will be held for the construction workers.
A folklore program is planned with the participation of PFA "Iskra", and from 19:00 the audio-visual show "Tsarevgrad Tarnov - sound and light" will be broadcast free of charge for the residents and guests of the city.
Organizers of the festive program are the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo, the Regional History Museum, the Holy Metropolis of Veliko Tarnovo, the Chamber of Builders - Veliko Tarnovo, and the Vasil Levski National Military University.
