| New Bridge under Tsarevets Set for Imminent Launch! |

The new bridge connecting the Sveta Gora quarter with the rest of Veliko Tarnovo is nearing completion and is expected to be operational soon. Currently, final touches are being applied, and the bridge is being connected to adjacent streets.
Upon its launch, the nearby Beyski Bridge, located just meters away, is anticipated to undergo repairs and continue functioning exclusively as a pedestrian bridge, similar to the Stambolov Bridge.
Additionally, another bridge on the Tsarevets bypass is also in the final stages of repair. The construction of these two new bridges aims to alleviate car traffic in the old part of Veliko Tarnovo. The new bridge at the beginning of "Slivnitsa" Street will redirect traffic from the historic center to the Sofia-Varna road, while the second bridge will handle traffic heading towards Ruse.
These infrastructure improvements are set to enhance traffic flow and connectivity in Veliko Tarnovo, making travel more efficient and reducing congestion in the city’s historic areas. |
