A New Beautiful and Modern Park Coming Soon to Veliko Tarnovo

A stunning new park is set to be developed in Veliko Tarnovo near the "Kachitsa" road junction, on the site of the former "circus playground." Spanning 18 decares, the park will feature various attractions and amenities designed to enhance the property. Plans include a fountain, a water mirror, pedestrian walkways, picnic areas, children's playgrounds, and more.

To bring this project to life, the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo has submitted an investment proposal to the Ministry of Environment and Water. The proposal outlines plans to replace the existing concrete pavement with green areas and to install a rainwater capture and storage system for irrigation. The current trees on the property will be preserved, and new trees will be planted.

The park will feature two main pedestrian entrances and a secondary entrance that will connect to the nearby school. Additionally, there will be two vehicular entrances providing access to car and bicycle parking.

The park will include two playgrounds: one for children up to 3 years old and another for children up to 12 years old. The playground for younger children will have slides, swings, see-saws, a merry-go-round, and equipment adapted for children with disabilities. The playground for older kids will feature a slide, swing, merry-go-round, and climbing equipment.

At the center of the park, a water mirror up to 40 cm deep will be installed, complete with modern lighting and water effects. A circular fountain with a green island in the middle will be located near the eastern entrance. Around the fountain, openwork metal pergolas will provide sun protection and cool seating areas.

Visitors will enjoy comfortable benches with backrests, gazebos, waste bins, drinking water fountains, and various types of lighting fixtures. A standout feature will be special lamps resembling glowing flowers near the main entrance.

Additionally, the park will include three mobile pavilion-type structures and a public restroom. The existing skateboarding area will be fully preserved and integrated into the new park design.

This new park promises to be a beautiful and modern addition to Veliko Tarnovo, offering a wide range of amenities and attractions for residents and visitors alike.
