"Prison" Museum awaits visitors on the Night of the Museums - May 18

The Regional History Museum in Veliko Tarnovo will participate in the European Night of Museums 2024 initiative on May 18. On Saturday evening, the "Prison" museum will be open for free visits until 11:30 p.m.
The exhibition can be viewed without entrance fees during the day as well.
The European Night of Museums has been held at the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture since 2005. In its format, the initiative is a wide-open program for different audiences, who have the opportunity not only to touch the exhibits and works presented by museums and galleries, but also to feel their messages.
It focuses on the young audience, by presenting an unusual and attractive program, which, in addition to the opportunity to get to know the cultural heritage, offers other cultural events.
The Regional History Museum in Veliko Tarnovo has participated in the initiative since its creation and with various events and free access over the years to the medieval churches in the Assenov district, the museums, the Prison, the Revival and Constituent Assembly, the Sarafkin House, the Multimedia Visitor Center , the archaeological museums and expositions in Arbanasi.
