Interest in Plovdiv-European Capital of Culture initiative increases

The interest in the initiative Plovdiv-European Capital of Culture, which will be officially opened on January 12, has been constantly increasing, the organizers of the event announced. Journalists from France, Austria, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, Italy, Slovakia and Turkey have already confirmed their participation. The opening will be broadcast live by teams of Euronews, Deutsche Welle and Museum TV. A large delegation from over 20 cities which were already European Capitals of Culture will attend the official opening of Plovdiv-European Capital of Culture 2019.
