Balkan countries agree to launch joint travel routes to attract more tourists
Friday, Oct 26, 2018
Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Turkey have agreed to launch joint travel routes, Deputy Minister of Tourism Lyuben Kanchev said.

The aim is to attract guests from distant destinations by giving them an opportunity to see more things. Lyuben Kanchev added that discussions will continue at the upcoming international conference in Sofia on 15 and 16 November. He added that the number of tourists coming to this country in the period from the beginning of the year until the end of August had gone up by 7.2 percent, while revenues in the sector had reached almost 3 bln. Leva, or 4.5 percent more compared to the same period of 2017.

Deputy Minister Kanchev is attending the 11th Black Sea Tourism Forum, opening near Varna today.
