| BGN 250m will be invested in roads on the Southern Black Sea |

| More than BGN 250m will be invested in roads rehabilitation and repairs on the Black Sea southern coast. The investor is Road Infrastructure national agency, the deadline is by the end of the year. Some more BGN 10m will be granted for repairs and maintenance of roads. The sections to be rehabilitated are Nesebar - Ravda, Primorsko - Yasna poliana, Tsareva - Rezovo, the overpass Buras - Kableshkovo. By mid-2009 is to be awarded the contract for Burgas - Sredets - Sozopol junction which is among the most important infrastructure projects for the town and the region with the all transport flow going through it. The methodology for selection of lots 2 and 4 of Trakia highway is not correct and the tenders should be cancelled, explained Hristo Slavchev, dep. head of the agency, at a meeting with the local communities and the local mayors. Under discussion were also problems with waste-water treatment plants and landfills of no capacity.
