| Bulgaria sets positive example for good neighbor relations, according to David McAllister |

The Chair of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee David McAllister hailed the focus that Bulgaria has laid on the Western Balkans with a view to Bulgaria itself setting a positive example for good neighbour relations.
David McAllister voiced this view during the Inter-Parliamentary Conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP)in Sofia. He pointed to the ratification of the Treaty of Friendship with Macedonia as a proof of that. McAllister added that step by step, the Western Balkans should be incorporated in the infrastructure and processes in cooperation with the agencies of the European Union. |
