| Sofia to join establishing of Global Observatory against Air Pollution |

| Sofia will join the establishing of a Global Observatory against Urban Air Pollution. That was stated by its Mayor Yordanka Fandakova at her meeting with experts of the environmental sphere from Paris, Vienna and Madrid. They all are taking part in Sofia’s SOFAIR conference for exchange of experience and good practices in coping with urban air pollution. The first task of the Global Observatory will be to establish a platform for data and analysis exchange with the purpose of finding working solutions for overcoming the air pollution issue. The platform will use the expertise of the World Health Organization too. |
