| Bulgaria Introduces New Cadastral Info E-System |

A new electronic system for providing information over the cadastre and the property register in Bulgaria has been officially presented Monday.
The system is already working in all 28 regional departments of the Cadastre Agency and 113 bureaus of the Registry Agency.
The project speeds up striking real estate deals and covering the regions of active land markets with cadastre maps. The security of the information provided is high, which minimizes the risk of frauds.
The e-system aims also at saving citizens' time when they need data from that included in it.
Now the information required could be delivered to the users in just few minutes via Internet.
The project has been financed by the World Bank and the Dutch government as they invested EUR 28.7 M and USD 2 M respectively.
„Cadastre and Property Register" project has been distinguished as the best one in the business environment category at the first World Bank's annual contest for Europe and Central Asia.
