New E-registry puts to end shady deals with real estates
If a rich uncle bequeaths his wealth to you, the deal would be made public on the Internet. The notaries in Bulgaria are preparing an e-registry for all documents concerning inherited property. To avoid shady deals and frauds, though, the name of the will-keeper would be kept secret. The register will quote only information on the date of the last will signature and names of a heir and will signatory, told The Standart head of the Notary Chamber Dimiter Tanev. The contents of the document will remain strictly confidential till the death of the property owner.
He added that soon Bulgaria will join the Intranet, a computer network for private information, last wills including, Tanev explained. One mouse click would be enough to find out if you have a house in the Alps, for instance. As of today, e-register for real property is launched in Bulgaria. Anyone who needs information about his/her property can make reference via the Internet.
