| Veliko Tarnovo: Local unemployment is 2.5 times lower than national average |

The unemployment in the area of Veliko Tarnovo is 2.5 times lower than the average for the country, Obreshko Nechev, head of the local Labour Office, told journalists.
In July, the number of unemployed people in the municipalities of Veliko Tarnovo, Elena and Zlataritsa stood at 1,991, down by 0.4% against the previous month, FOCUS Radio - Veliko Tarnovo reported. Compared to a year earlier, the unemployment decreased by 20.1%.
The average unemployment rate in the area stood at 4.2%, similar to June. It is 2.1 points lower than the level for the region. |
