| Employment agency: Jobless rate continues falling in August |

Jobless rate in Bulgaria continues falling in August. This is what the press office of the Employment Agency announced on Thursday.
In the end of August, the number of the people registered at the employment bureaus throughout the country is 261,525. This is some 6,575 people less compared with July.
Speaking annually, compared with August 2015, the number of the unemployed people is much smaller – 45,296 less people, while compared with December 2015 – 67,396 less.
In August 2016 the jobless rate continues decreasing and it is now 8.0%.
A total of 19,789 unemployed people have been hired at the primary labour market in August. 4,441 unemployed people, on the other hand, were included in the subsidised employment.
There are 18,934 available jobs at the primary labour market enrolled at the employment bureaus. |
