Mysterious library and monastery found near Veliko Tarnovo

Mysterious patriarchal library and a royal monastery in Veliko Tarnovo are among the undiscovered archaeological resources near Veliko Tarnovo.Many legends descrives how in the palace book repository were preserved unique manuscripts dating from the time of the Assen dynasty.During centuries, many historians and archeologists researches, where the last Patriarh Evtimii hide valuable literature when the Ottoman army was approaching the old Bulgarian capital.
The Saint idea was that books should remain permanently hidden when the city is conquered. Historians, including Mosko Moskov and Dr. Vasil Beron, assume that the patriarchal library probably lies somewhere in the church "St. St. Peter and Paul. "
Other historians think that the treasures are hidden near the town of Kilifarevo and village Belyakovets.
The area with monasteries around Veliko Tarnovo is called “Sveta Gora”, and historians of the University" St. St. Cyril and Methodius " believe that remains from undiscovered monastiry could be found around Monastery "Holy Trinity" and ” Preobrajenie Monastery ”.
The discovery can proove that the academic centre in the old capital is one of the most important
cultural and scientific centers in Southeast Europe during the Middle Ages.
