| Rakia fest in Ganchovets |

From 4 to 6th September in the village of Ganchovets will be held a rakia fest. The fest was first held in 2008 and since then it is an annual event. The fest`s aim is to pick up the best home-made rakia. Over 50 types of the home-made drink will take part in the competition. The winner`s prize is 50 liter keg. Besides the rakia competition there will be a competition for the best haiku poem about the rakia.
There will be also concerts and movies projections during the event. Few Bulgarian groups will take part such as Poduene Blues Band, Wayfaring Stranges and etc. |
