I can assure you and all citizens who intend to rest in Bulgaria that the Bulgarian beaches are among the cleanest one in Europe”. That is what Vladimir Kisyov, hotelier and concessionaire in Sunny Beach resort, said for FOCUS News Agency in connection with a report released on May 25, according to which Europe's beaches are becoming cleaner, but Bulgaria was a country where beaches do not meet the quality standards.
According to him, he did not know what the credibility of the report in question is, but the Bulgarian beaches were clean.
"11 of our major beaches earn Blue Flag status. This is a kind of quality guarantee of our beaches," Vladimir Kisyov said.
"However, we suspect that due to the problems in Greece, and strikes there, most of European tourists prefer Bulgaria and avoid Greece. I think this is a political game of our neighbours," he added. |
