| Veliko Tarnovo is the best place for cultural tourism in Bulgaria |

Veliko Tarnovo became the most popular cultural destination in Bulgaria. This is the opinion of Blagoy Ragin – the chairman of the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association. In an interview he predicted that a big part of the Bulgarians will stay in our resorts for Easter.
There is also a very big interest toward Velingrad, Sandanski, Hisarya, Pomorie, Separeva banya where there are mineral springs. The winter resorts are also a popular destionation due to the fact that there is still snow and it has good conditions for skiing.
There is a very big interest in the cultural tourism led by Veliko Tarnovo and Plovdiv. The two cities were main competiotion for the European Capital of Culture for 2019.
Veliko Tarnovo is prefered place for cultural tourism due to his museums, architectural monuments, galleries and the afoordable prices.
