| Bulgaria Is Second Favorite Destination Among Russians |

Bulgaria only lags behind Spain as Russians' choice to spend their holiday, a Russian survey says.
"Europe was less popular in 2014 if compared to Turkey and Egypt. The drop in demand was registered as early as in spring. This was why tourist operators optimized the summer program, trying to conform it to the real tourist demand," the operator TUI Russia's website informed Thursday.
Compared to 2013 Russians have often preferred cheaper hotels offering a good correlation between quality and price.
Holidays in Spain's Mallorca and Ibiza have remained popular throughout the entire season, while mainland Spain registered the opposite trend, performing well below expectations.
Bulgaria's tourist resorts have shown good results over the entire season, TUI Russia has added.
